Pensacola, FL – Adot Labs, LLC has developed Adot Pro, a new and affordable application to tackle web accessibility. The software tool is used by business owners who strive to make to their current website compliant with web accessibility standards.

Adot Pro is a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) that enables website owners to create an accessible version of their existing website, without having to completely start over or engage in a costly redesign.

Released in early October of 2017, Adot Pro was designed to provide an easy and affordable accessibility compliant version of a business’s digital information that impaired individuals can use to engage content online as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act Title III laws.

As a response to the many businesses being sued for their websites being non-compliant, Florida Governor Rick Scott signed HB727 which states that a property who is not in compliance with ADA law may submit a remediation plan approved by a qualified expert. A court must consider remediation plan that has been filed with the department before the filing of the plaintiff’s complaint. This codifies existing law holding that remediation plans in existence before an ADA lawsuit is filed moots any such claim.
